The Carolina Cyclers is affiliated with the

League of American Bicyclists and the

  Palmetto Cycling Coalition  (the PCC).

PCC Jerseys can make a good Christmas present for yourself or a loved one.

Some for our members are involved with randonneuring all over the world.

Vacationing in SC?

Planning a vacation in South Carolina? If so, you may want to check out the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism web site. The SCPRT has lots of information about vacationing in the Palmetto State. The South Carolina State Trails Program web site contains a wealth of information about cycling trails and also has an excellent section on self-guided cycling tours throughout the state.

International

The Canadian Kilometer Achiever Program awards certificates to those who participate in their program and excel. C-Kap has awarded the 2000 Hewes Challenge Trophy to Carolina Cyclers Keith Shealey, Wayne Parrish, and Woody Graham for being the group with the most kilometers ridden for the year. Check out the photo page to see Carolina Cyclers President Alice Koss presenting them with their award - just click the link and scroll to the bottom of the page. Congratulations to these three fine cyclists!

You may also want to visit seankelly.com, the official web site of the renowned Irish racer Sean Kelly. Sean is one of the most successful cyclists of all time and the record holder of four green jerseys in the Tour de France.

If you're interested in cycling "down under", visit the Aussie Junior Cycling News web site. They have Australian race results posted and many links to other cycling-related sites.

For those of you interested in cycling in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, check out Upstate SC Cycling. If running and cycling in the Dillon, SC, area interests you, check out Dillon Roads. You can find lots of good info at these sites.

If you're interested in mountain biking in Georgia and the Southeast, check out SORBA-CSRA. SORBA's primary focus is advocacy and land-access issues, but they also sponsor rides and festivals, and through trail acquisition and maintenance they further support off-road cycling in the North Georgia area.

A mountain bike club in the Columbia area is SC BOMB, the South Carolina affiliate of BOMB International.

Need a coach? Then Coach Carl Online has some advice for you. His site is designed to help promote the sport of bicycle racing by teaching advanced racing to fans, athletes, coaches, and others.

The Art of Cycling features artist Jeremy Mallard's paintings and prints of some of the great riders, including Greg LeMond, Eddy Merckx, and Sean Kelly, at this on-line cycling art gallery.
